Sahana is an associate at The Schinner Law Group working in the areas of corporate and real estate law. A graduate of Golden Gate University School of Law and National Law School in Bangalore, she is licensed to practice in India.
As an attorney in India, she worked for multinational companies such as Ernst & Young, and Wipro Technologies. She handled assignments involving international arbitration, international taxation and intellectual property rights.
As a law student, she worked at the California Department of Financial Institutions, where she drafted opinion letters for the Department and assisted in the regulation of banks to ensure compliance with the Financial Code. As an intern for California Rural Legal Assistance, her budget analysis of 20 districts with Migrant Education programs
was vital in preventing a line item veto by the Governor of $29 million allocated to these programs. She has also worked for Federal Magistrate Judge, Hon. Maria-Elena James.
Sahana is fluent in Hindi and other Indian languages such as Kannada & Tamil. She lives in Fremont with her husband, a counseling psychologist.
