Vanessa joined The Schinner Law Group as a Law Clerk working in the areas of corporate and business law. She holds a law degree from Brazil and a Masters of Law degree from the University of San Francisco. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Vanessa is a permanent resident of the United States.
In Brazil, she worked for several law firms, garnering experience in both litigation and transactional work. A firm believer in providing pro-bono work, she has represented low-income clients on a range of different tort matters. Vanessa’s non-legal experience includes work as a marketing consultant for multinational companies such as Gillette and L’Óreal.
Vanessa is currently studying to take the California BAR exam and become a licensed attorney specializing in business law. Trilingual, Vanessa speaks Portuguese, Spanish and English. She lives in Berkeley with her husband, a consulting environmental engineer.
